Dream away.

Earlier today, I had no idea what to blog about. Then I went to the worship service at my school and I knew exactly what I wanted to blog about afterwards: dreams.

What are dreams that you have for your life?

Here are some of mine:

1) To be a mother. I cannot wait to have a family and share little, daily joys with my husband and children. There are so many terrifying, but incredible things that come with motherhood and I cannot wait to experience them all. Along with that, I can't wait to experience them with my husband. Family is definitely a huge dream of mine.

2) To travel the world and serve people. What I want to do is to go into villiages and towns and ask people how I can help them. Can I do their laundry? Can I paint their fence? Can I do anyhting to give thema break? I want to just serve and love them. Then at night, I would cook them a huge meal and we would sit down and get to know one another and because friends.

3) Have a job that I am passionate about. I don't want to work just to work. I want to work so that I can do what I'm good at and that I can help others as well. I want to wake up and be excited for work.

Now...(here comes the big question)...What are God's dreams for us?

Thoughts:
1) I think God wants everyone to be accepted. I think that He wants us to realize that people were created for a purpose and mean a lot. We should love and cherish the diversity we have, not try to squander it.

2) I think God wants us to act with justice in every circumstance and not just when it is convenient for us.

3) I think God wants us to live in peace. Plain and simple.

4) I think God wants us to love. To love without any boundaries or conditions.

5) I think God wants us to realize that we're cool just the way we are. This can go along with being accepted, but I think He wants us to accept ourselves; to quit hating on ourselves and being hard on ourselves all of the time.

Just some thoughts.

God has greater plans and dreams for us than we know. Dreams are so incredibly beautiful and reachable.
